Height and spread: +4m x +4m

* A very attractive variety and very popular with the public.

*It needs areas with long, very hot summers to fully ripen the figs and bring out their flavour.

*Very resistant against splitting and souring.

*The young stems are also striped yellow and green. Most of the leaf stalks are also light yellow in colour.

*Slow growing at first but grows faster when established. Regular monthly feeding with pelletized manure is advised.

*It is a strong, upright growing tree and it is a good bearer.

*It tolerates light to moderate frost.

*Sometimes parts of the tree can revert back to green and these branches should be removed immediately by cutting them back to were the variegated branches start.
