Russia, introduced by Dr. Gregory Levin, Garrygala Agricultural research station, Turksmenistan.
Type
Sweet-sour, hard seeded
Description
Very large rounded fruit with medium thick rind. The skin is basic green with light crimson-pink spots and strokes. The large cherry red kernels are very juicy with an excellent sweet tart flavour.
Ripens
From March, dependent on weather conditions.

*Produces excellent quality juice.
*Useful in areas which experience severe frost.
