Description

Medium sized oval to turbine shaped fruit. The skin is thin and shows cracking when ripe. The colour of the skin is dark purple to black when ripe. The flesh is red and has a good quality taste.

*Very good for fresh eating.

*A variety that has been grown in France for hundreds of years.

*A compact and bushy growing with a lot of suckers.

*A very slowgrowing plant.

*Should do well in pots and small city gardens.

*Tolerant of severe frost when established.

*Has excellent resistance to splitting and souring during wet weather conditions.
